The University of Peloponnese / Theatre Studies
The Department of Theatre Studies of the School of Fine Arts of the University of the Peloponnese, located in the city of Nafplio, Argolis, Greece and founded in 2003, aims at the theoretical and practical training of students in the art of theatre. Combining theatre practice with scientific methodology it supplies students with the necessary qualifications for an artistic or scholarly career in theatre. The Department offers a four-year Study Programme organized in eight semesters. The specializations offered in the Department are as follows: 1. Theatre Studies, 2. Performing Arts.


In addition, the Department offers a Post-Graduate course, titled, MA in Drama and Performing Arts in Education and Lifelong Learning.
The Department of Theatre Studies of the University of the Peloponnese is actively involved in developing international research, mobility and exchange programmes and has already imlemented, among others, various European projects such as Comenius 2.1, Erasmus I.P., Grundtvig multilateral.
