Christina Zoniou (Athens, Greece) followed graduate and postgraduate studies in Theatre Studies in Athens (University of Athens), Glasgow (Glasgow University) and Florence (Laboratorio Nove Acting School/ University of Florence), specializing in contemporary theatre practice and dramaturgy. She is a PhD candidate in the Pedagogical Department of Preschool Education of the University of Thessaly, on the subject of theatre and intercultural education. She worked as director, as dramaturg / theatrologist by theatre companies, theatre festivals and theatre institutions (Laboratorio Nove, Intercity Festival, Τeatro della Limonaia, Teatro Verdi, Prima Del Teatro - European School for the Art of the Actor). Since 1999 she facilitates theatre workshops and teaches acting to adults and children in university institutions, theatres, schools and NGOs. She teaches in the graduate and postgraduate programs of the University of Peloponnese (Nafplio, Greece), has organized and participated in conferences, research projects and exchanges (Εrasmus ΙP, Comenius 2.1, Grundtvig Multilateral) and has published related scientific articles and co-edited books. Since March 2014, she is the president of the administrative board of the Hellenic Theatre/Drama & Education Network.
