Nassia Choleva, (Athens, Greece) is drama pedagogue, with working experience with groups of a wide range of age, educational, mental, physical or other special abilities and needs. She works in both formal and non-formal educational settings. Special work interests include: using drama in educational or social groups; teachers' training on the use of drama in teaching any school subjects; leading summer camp groups. She has planned and been leading the DiE (Drama in Education) project “You …as I:  looking into diversity through drama” in Eastern Attica (Greece) schools, since 2007. She receives constant training on new methods and aspects of the use of drama and other performance arts in education and social intervention. She has presented papers, lead workshops and represented Greece in International conferences, world summits and meetings in Athens-Greece, Belem-Brazil, Hong-King-China, Mostar-Bosnia etc. She has been very active in TENet-Gr, (Hellenic Theatre/Drama & Education Network), the Greek member of IDEA (International Drama/Theatre & Education Association), serving as a Board member and as its General Secretary of the Board between 2005 and 2014. She is a member of the TENet-Gr scientific ‘education & theatre’ Journal editing committee since 2004. She has served as a member of IDEA’s Communications Working Committee between 2004 and 2006.
